Daily & Weekly Check Requirements

Daily (Before each journey):

Visual Check (Walk Around): Look for obvious damage, flat tyres, or leaks under the car.

Lights: Quick check of all exterior lights (headlights, tail, brake, indicators).

Wipers & Washer Fluid: Ensure wipers work, check fluid level.

Glass & Mirrors: Ensure clean and unobstructed vision.

Dashboard: Check for any warning lights after starting the engine.

Tyres: Tyre pressure and tread depth satisfactory. - tip insert a 20p coin into the main tread grooves; if the outer band of the coin is visible, the tread is below the legal limit of 1.6mm and needs attention. Engine Oil: Check dipstick level; top up if needed (correct oil type). Coolant: Check expansion tank level (when cold). Brake Fluid: Check reservoir level. Power Steering Fluid: Check reservoir level. All Lights: Thorough check of all exterior lights, including number plate and fog lights. Horn: Test for function.
